48 Glock - About 48 years ago the Glock was introduced and since then it has gained a great deal of interest and popularity. I know nothing about G48; it's basically a single G19 stack, which, depending on how you look at it, makes good sense or little sense.
Because I train with the G43 and am used to carrying it around the house, I am familiar with the feel, carrying and handling of a single stack pistol. While the G48 has a longer slide and overall grip, it also has a slightly thicker body than the G43, making it feel and shoot like a more powerful pistol than its predecessor.

Since I am not an active duty officer or LEO, I only care about carrying common guns; usually concealed carry guns. So I admit I had a hard time justifying this pistol at first because it is the same length and height as the G19, and even though it is a single stack, it is about the same thickness as the G19. Therefore, it has long been observed that if you can afford the G48, the G19 is a much better option. But after serious thought, I believed I had the right reasons, and carried the G48. So after spending some time shooting this single barrel pistol, here are some thoughts for you to consider.
Glock 48 Mod
The 48-round 9mm pistol is designed for concealed carry. This option is slightly slimmer than the G19, to reduce belt/on-belt weight and/or for people with smaller hands who don't like the double grip. The loaded weight compared to the Glock 19 is 5 ounces. The slimmer slide and construction make the G48 slightly easier to conceal than the G19.
The reduced frame width and one magazine stack means less ammo; The G48 magazine carries 10 rounds. This is the same as the smaller but thicker G26. You can think of it as a lighter Duke-sized 1911 that it actually is.
Other aspects of the G48 you should consider are when you want less weight and easier concealment, but still want almost full-size grip and a longer slide and easier balance and handling. Another reason is that you want this smaller option, but still perfectly simple mechanics and full confidence of the bullet.
Because the G48 is a single-stack polymer pistol, it is slightly more effective than double-stack pistols of a similar size. The reduced weight of the slide and the frame only allows you to scare more. But since I usually shoot plastic guns, I found this to be great and easy to handle. I like this pistol a lot compared to my G43. It gives comfort and confidence.
Gucci Glock 48 [full Build List]
I've shot the G48 a few times before, but for this review I used a rental gun with a few thousand rounds and a 5.5 pound trigger. I'm a Glock shooter, so the trigger was a familiar feel, not a factor of strings or accuracy. It was just "normal".
This time I took the opportunity to make quick adjustments and fire strings quickly with reload speed. I found these to be much easier to handle than with mine and almost as simple as the G19. It's a glom so the powers are well placed and familiar to me. The longer slide radius and sight radius than my G43 doesn't seem to be much different because it doesn't have much of a problem with the smaller sight radius of the 43, but the G48 has a longer sight radius and can be. some are easier to focus on.
One thing I didn't really like was the lack of texture on the handle. The texture of the G48 is the same as other smaller models, such as the 43, 43x and 42, it has almost no meaning. This is the gun that keeps the Talon wet or if I hardly ever shoot.
This would be an urgent question, since these two models were moving the world of guns in terms of size and capability. The answers are certainly subjective, but they are objective and cannot be ignored. Also those other two guns are smaller and thus have the same or better capability than the G48. However, some of the advantages of the G48 over the other two are that it is easier and more comfortable to grip, and easier to pull from the holster and while operating/launching.
Glock 48: The Gun That Can Take On And Beat The Glock 19?
There are certainly advantages that other handguns have over the G48, especially in terms of personal preference, but let's face it, none of them are Glocks... with the most parts and accessories and proven durability. These are the most important.
Something to note is that some new magazines from Shield Armor contain 15 rounds in the size of a regular G48 magazine without any extension. While they are clearly not OEM parts, it is intriguing in theory. There is a chance that Glock will restore its famous reputation, but the benefits certainly warrant further investigation.
(Just be aware that replacing the polyethylene bracket with a metal clip or steel brackets will injure the client).
G48 is a group. No new technology, proven technology, and with proper maintenance, the G48, like its brothers, will surely avoid 100 miles. The slimmer frame and lighter overall package are easier to carry and easier to hide than standard models. Shoots and handles easier than a medium pistol. Maintenance is easy (any part can be changed in seconds) and you will always have spare parts, interchangeable parts and accessories. Since this is a group, there are many models of holsters available for it.
Slimline Pistols Under Test: Glock 43x And 48
Although slightly thinner, the G48 is the same size as the G19, but holds five fewer rounds, an overall seemingly unnecessary tradeoff. Since it's his group, he has those stupid polymer visions that need to be replaced (at extra cost). The G48 is generally heavier than what you'll find on older Glock models. The texture is pretty crappy and needs to be changed somehow. It is larger than other guns that carry a similar or larger capacity.
So basically, the Glock 48 is a study in contrasts. You like a lot, but it is not too difficult to find a comparative criticism; perhaps more so than any other pistol (except the Glock 43x). Then I'll say that if you prefer a Glock, you need to get your hands on it and get some exhaust, because...
